Executive power | Authorities — 450 years with Russia

In accordance with the Constitution of Bashkortostan Republic, a higher public servant of the republic its President, and the Government RB, carries out executive power on its territory.

The President of Bashkortostan Republic is the head of Bashkortostan Republic, which presents the republic in relationships with the President of Russian Federation, the Federation Council and State Duma, the Government of Russian Federation, other federal public authorities, bodies of state authorities of subjects of federation, etc. To the post of the President RB a citizen of Russian Federation can be elected, aged 30 years; the term of powers of the president makes five years.

The President RB forms and heads the higher executive and constantly operating body of the state power of our republic the Government of Bashkortostan Republic. The Prime Minister, appointed by the President RB with consent of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Republic, deputy Prime-ministers of the Government RB, ministers, chairmen of state committees and leaders of departments of Bashkortostan Republic, are included in the complement of the Government RB. In cases when the President RB temporally (in connection with illness or vacation) cannot carry out his duties, the Prime Minister of the Government RB carries them out.

The constitution provides for the possibility to the President RB on presentation of the Prime Minister of Government RB to include the leaders of other public organs and organizations of the republic in the complement of the government. The President RB creates administration of the President RB, forms the Council of the Republic consultation organ at the President of Bashkortostan Republic.
